Bonaterm ASBT Neoprene Adhesive

Bonaterm ASBT glue offers excellent adhesion and high temperature resistance.
Primarily intended for the automotive and furniture industries for bonding foam, fabrics, imitation leather, and leather.
Applied with a brush or glue gun.

Widely used for bonding vehicle headliners and door panels.

Directions for use:

The glue should be used when the ambient temperature and that of the materials are between 15 and 30°C.
Stir well before use.
Apply the glue in thin, even coats to both surfaces to be bonded using a gun, brush, or roller.
It is recommended to apply two coats on highly absorbent materials such as textiles and leather (the second coat should be applied after a 20-minute waiting period).
Then, glue the two pieces together and press evenly without applying excessive force to prevent the glue from seeping into the fabric.
To dilute the glue and clean tools, use a thinner such as Bonaros® BIV, neoprene thinner, or acetone.

Storage and Safety:

This glue contains methyl ethyl ketone, naphtha extract III, and ethyl acetate. Work in a well-ventilated area.
Do not allow the glue and vapors to come into contact with an open flame and eliminate all possibility of mechanical and electrostatic sparks.
Use only explosion-proof electrical installations and equipment.
Contains solvents; vapors are flammable and form an explosive mixture with air.

Bonaterm adhesive has a shelf life of 6 months.
